…wird hier über dem Rana für Manche/n zur Wirklichkeit. Wir begnügen uns dagegen, dem bunten Treiben vor dieser einzigartigen Kulisse der böhmischen Berge zuzuschauen und manches Motiv für die Kamera zu erhaschen. Welch ein wunderbarer Sonnenuntergangsabend.

Da scheint es ganz besondere thermische Bedingungen an diesem Berg zu geben. SO nah dran waren wir auch noch nie.

I don’t think I have the mental capacity to try writing this in German right now. Vergib mir.
My office is literally across the motorway from the US Air Force Academy. We often see the aircraft doing pattern practice, and what not; but by far the coolest thing is watching the parachutist planes. They drop a couple of the cadets more or less „right outside“ our window — with a pair of binoculars, we can see them drop out of the plane before the chute opens. It’s pretty cool to watch.

Yes, that looks really great. But we didn’t have the courage to run down the mountain, unravel the cords and then just start flying. You need a lot of trust in the material 🙂
